Kronoply GmbH is part of Krono Gruppe Schweiz with its head office in Luzern. Krono Gruppe Schweiz operates globally with nine production sites and various sales offices.
For several years, the extensive range of derived timber products has included the most modern system for continuous manufacture of Kronoply OSB (Oriented Strand Board). Kronoply has also had equal success with the new, super-light construction MDF, as well as a wide variety of modern shuttering panels. Since its launch, the Kronoply FF-Spezial has successfully established itself on the market.
Following the extremely positive response to the Kronoply FF-Spezial, our engineers and laboratory technicians are continuing work on the further development of our product range. The latest innovations in this area is the QUICKLY Board. Special building inspectorate approvals (BAZ) and external production monitoring by the recognised institutes (BFSV,FSC) guarantee the highest level of reliability and safety, above all in the industrial sector.
Primarily the areas of timber construction, shuttering, vehicle and platform construction, the packaging industry and companies involved in decorative interior finishing as well as handymen and tradesmen are increasingly calling for innovative and ecologically-sound top-quality materials.
The manufacture of Kronoply OSB boards uses only fresh timber that is obtained during thinning, i.e. forest cultivation, and that has no other practical industrial use. An integral part in the development of innovative products is the high level of co-operation with our colleagues at the Zary (PL) and Sully (F) plants. The vertical integration of the three plants is a particularly positive feature, allowing optimum control of all product parameters from wood and adhesive through to the finished product. This results in products with the highest possible consistent quality, which, as such, is unsurpassed in this area.
