Kronotherm DP is a diffusion-open, wooden insulating panel, which can be used as a lower deck panel or as exterior panelling in rear-ventilated wall constructions. Together with Kronotherm FG (flexible bay insulation) and Kronotherm DF (impact resistant insulation), Kronotherm DP represents constitutes an ideal addition to the Kronoply and Kronotherm product range. Like all other products, Kronotherm DP is made from 100% formaldehyde-free bonding agents and as such also meets stricter requirements in ecological timber construction.
Kronotherm DP is available in the 2500 x 675 mm format with a thickness of either 22 mm or 23 mm. The edges are fitted with the LiquiSafe nut joint and tongue-and-groove joint, making it quick and easy to install. In accordance with guidelines set by the ZVDH (Central Association of the German Roofing Trade), Kronotherm DP represents an "interlocked shortage" and may be used up to a roof pitch of 15° (22 mm) and 18° (33 mm) without additional measures; it may undershoot the roof pitch by a maximum of 6°. Kronotherm DP are CE-certified in accordance with EN 13171 and approved by the inspectorate in accordance with Z-23.15-1581.
