The Kronotec DP/WP 35 - Panel is used in an almost identical fashion to the Kronotec DP/WP 50.
Please note that the Kronotec DP35 is only rain proof from a roof pitch of 18° by using another LiquiSafe tongue and groove shaping. The panel's extra thickness (40 mm) and the low density (approx. 350 instead of 510 kg/m³) mean that the DP35 can also be used or considered as insulation.
In certain circumstances this will mean that a lower rafter height is possible and will reduce the thermal bridge effect of the rafter.
Properties:
faster installation than sarking
water vapor open
no roofing felt required
thermal insulating (λ=0,065 W/mK; U=1,625 W/m²K)
reduces thermal bridges
patented LiquiSafe tongue-and-groove joint
installation with virtually no offcut
classified as roofing board with rebate according to the regulations of the Central Association of German Roofing Contractors (ZVDH).
The special LiquiSafe tongue-and-groove profile can be pushed together easily even if it has been damaged and also provides for reliable water drainage.
Important advantages:
combination of static racking board and thermal insulation
building inspection permit: Z-9.1-505
additional approval for timber frame walls with sheeting of Kronotec WP35: Z-9.1-516
pressed with formaldehyde-free bonding agents
moisture-resistant according to HWK 100
F30 - B fire safety inspected wall construction
no modification of overall construction required
reduction of thermal bridge effect of studs / rafters for additional thermal insulation
valid alternative to expanding studs or thermal insulation
Certified by the Trade Association as safety covering provided that:
1. each board is fastened to at least two rafters 2. the rafter spacing does not exceed max. 833 mm 3. the rafter spacing is at least 40 mm (in compliance with the edge distance according to DIN 1052) 4. at least two rows of boards are fastened 5. the board is dry and undamaged upon installation the boards are fastened in accordance with the building authority approval / specifications of the structural engineer.
Kronotec WP 35
The Kronotec WP35 - Panel is used in an almost identical fashion to the Kronotec WP50. However the panel's extra thickness (40 mm) and the low density (approx. 350 instead of 510 kg/m³) mean that the WP35 can also be used or considered as insulation. This leads to the reduction of the thermal bridge effect of the posts. The WP35 must only be fastened using clips.
